Embracing Diversity - Providing Opportunity
Employment and training
Four Season Waste is an equal opportunity employer that prides itself on its socially diverse workforce that includes First Nations people, people facing social, physical & intellectual challenges, refugees and people with low levels of educational attainment.
Four Seasons Waste has a well-developed pathway that supports unskilled employees to attain further qualifications such as heavy rigid licences.
A number of the company's current management team started at Four Seasons Waste in unskilled positions (jockeys) and have been supported to progress through roles as drivers, leading hands and supervisors as part of a structured pathway to a management position.
Our commitment to maximising employment and training pathways includes:
-
Our Driver Academy to provide pathways for unskilled employees to obtain additional licenses and qualifications
-
Our Driver Awareness Program that supports and trains all new drivers along with additional training for existing drivers to update and improve their skills.
-
Our management pathway program that provides opportunities for staff to progress through roles as drivers, leading hands and supervisors as part of a structured pathway to a management position.
